Each community in Chilton County has its own municipal and ball parks, and Chilton County’s Minooka Park was once considered the hidden jewel of the county. It offers a 25-mile ATV trail system for ATVs, dirt bikes, walking, hiking and horseback riding. Camping and RV sites are also available in the park. There are churches of most faiths, active civic clubs, excellent educational opportunities, historical events and places to visit – including civil war reenactments.
